Hats

Do what? I thought this was a glamping blog. It is 🙂 … but I’ve just got a few words on hats. When you go on a glamping holiday you are outside most of the time unlike normal everyday life. Make sure you’re protected. Part of your glamping gear should be a nice hat.

I like to wear the kind of I wouldn’t wear in everyday life, just for fun. No one I know is going to see me. I put that hat on, shake my shoulders back and head off to experience the day with a smile on my face.

Great places to look for a quirky unusual hat you would never normally wear are charity shops. Wherever you go there is bound to be one and the lack of selection can just make it be more fun. Remember you’re doing it for the protection but you might as well have fun with it. You are On holiday after all.

Take a sun hat of course to protect yourself from the Rays, but also take a rain hat. Something that will keep the water up your head in a downpour. Maybe something you can squash up in your pocket. It will keep you warm and happy.

My own scrunched up rain hat has been a life saver on so many occasions. So often it’s the small details that can make all the difference. Happy camping!
